About
1. The Problem
Enterprise ESG intelligence has been gated for a decade. The category-defining tools — MSCI ESG, Sustainalytics, Bloomberg ESG, S&P Global ESG — sit behind annual contracts that run from the mid-five figures into the high six figures. The gating works for Fortune 500 risk teams, large asset managers, and global insurers. It excludes everyone else: mid-market operators, small banks, regional insurers, family offices, founders raising ESG-aware capital, environmental and engineering firms whose clients keep asking the question, real-estate owners, supply-chain managers, sustainability consultants, lenders writing green-tagged loans, journalists, students, NGOs, and individuals trying to understand the entities they invest in or buy from.
WhatsMyESG is built for that excluded group. Our position is simple: ESG intelligence should not be a Fortune 500 perquisite.
2. The Service
WhatsMyESG (“WME”) generates a structured ESG report on any entity you ask about — a company, a physical address, a brand — using publicly available data and the recognized disclosure frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, ISSB IFRS S1/S2, CDP). Reports are branded, downloadable, and refreshable forever while your subscription is active. Pricing is flat: USD $99 / month for the first 15 founding members, $249 / month thereafter. No annual minimums, no implementation fee, no seat-based escalation. Cancel from your dashboard in one click.
See Methodology for the data sources, scoring approach, and known limitations. See /companies for the full database of pre-built company snapshots. See the Disclaimer for what reports are not.
3. The Operator
WME is operated by Vertexium Environmental Solutions (“VES”), an environmental consulting practice based in Dallas, Texas. VES has worked across Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, regulatory and ESG advisory engagements, and embedded operator work for industrial clients in Texas and across the United States. WME is the SaaS expression of that practice — the work product, the framework knowledge, and the evaluative habit, made directly addressable.
4. The Founder
WME was designed and is maintained by Dr. M. Elansary, founder and principal of Vertexium Environmental Solutions.
- Ph.D., Environmental Engineering, Texas A&M University–Kingsville, 2022.
- M.S., Environmental Engineering.
- ASTM E1527-21 Environmental Professional.
- Twenty-plus years of practice in environmental engineering and ESG advisory, including Phase I and Phase II site assessments, regulatory engagement, and operator-side environmental work.
- Based in Dallas, Texas; American, lifelong resident of the United States.
5. Why Now
Three currents converged in the years leading up to launch and none of them have reversed:
- Disclosure standardization is real. The ISSB published IFRS S1 and IFRS S2; IFRS S2 fully integrates the TCFD recommendations. SASB sits inside the IFRS Foundation. The European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is being phased in. U.S. state-level climate-disclosure laws are advancing. Whatever specific rule survives any specific regulatory reversal, the underlying taxonomy of what gets disclosed is now globally legible.
- Stakeholders are asking.Banks ask portfolio companies. Insurers ask underwriting candidates. Buyers ask suppliers. RFPs ask vendors. Procurement teams ask contractors. Acquirers ask targets in due diligence. The question “what is this entity’s ESG profile?” is now a routine business question, asked outside the walls of the Fortune 500.
- The tooling has not followed. The incumbents still gate at enterprise prices. Anyone outside the gate improvises with web searches, news clippings, and PDF downloads. WME is the productized answer to that gap.
6. How We Run the Business
VES is a small Dallas operator, not a venture-funded growth machine. The business is run accordingly:
- Conservative operating model. No interest-bearing debt, no debt-based financing. The methodology and the operating model are both built without it.
- No paid advertising. WME grows on the strength of its product, its credentials, and customer word-of-mouth. We do not buy attention.
- Founding-member pricing is locked. The first 15 paying members hold the $99/mo rate as long as their subscription remains uninterrupted, even after the public price moves to $249/mo.
- One-click cancellation. The mechanism by which you sign up is the mechanism by which you cancel. No retention gauntlet.
7. What WME Is Not
WME is not an audit or attestation, not a regulatory-compliance deliverable, and not investment, legal, or financial advice. See the Disclaimer for the full statement and the Methodology for what reports do and do not say.
